Inaugural Support Group
We warmly welcome you to join us for Project Chosen Family's inaugural support group, specifically designed for female-identifying and gender diverse youths aged 18 to 25 who come from culturally and racially marginalised (CARM) backgrounds.
Participation in this group will involve a commitment to confidentiality, privacy, and mindful sharing—values that are deeply important to us. These guidelines will be thoroughly discussed during the intake process. Additionally, the co-creation of the group agreement among participants will take place in the initial session of the support group to ensure everyone feels valued and heard.
Please keep in mind that completing this referral form does not guarantee your participation in this supportive space. All individuals referred will be required to complete an intake process, which will help us understand your specific support needs, your current level of preparedness for group participation, any existing support systems, as well as safety planning and personal goals you may have.
